Admission Procedure for ITI ALL TRADE
- Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the Bihar ITI Admission 2022. Bihar ITI Admission is based on an entrance exam.
Note:
The entrance exam ITICAT will be held on May 29, 2022, by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board, BCECE for admission to the top ITI colleges across Bihar. Anyone who has passed class 10th or appeared for class 10th board exams is eligible to sit for this exam. There is no maximum age limit for this exam. The application fees differ for the general and reserved categories. The general has to pay an amount of INR 550, whereas a reserved category candidate will have to pay INR 100.
The ITI institutes offer trade courses like Mechanic Diesel, Welder, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Plumber, Surveyor, Draughtsman Civil, etc. These courses are of 2-year duration. Some of the courses are of 1-year duration. The admission into these courses is usually based on the entrance exam, either the state level Bihar ITICAT or institute conducted entrance exam followed by a personal interview or counseling.
- If a candidate fails to confirm admission made to him/her the same shall stand cancelled and the resultant vacancy will be offered to the next eligible candidate in the second counseling.
